Sight Words – The what why and how. The ‘Science of Reading’ perspective
This webinar will explore exactly what the term sight words means and why this is so crucial to reading success. Orthographic Mapping and the development of a sight word bank (or lack thereof) sets many readers apart. Teachers and Teacher assistants will learn about the science of mapping words and how they can make small tweaks to their practice that ultimately make great gains in students reading achievement outcomes.
